The SOCIALS have three distinctive and interesting spaces for hire for parties, two at Micklegate and one at Fossgate.
They offer space for a wide range of uses from private parties, live music, club nights, performance, birthday parties, leaving do's, lectures, theatre, film nights, comedy and wine tasting. 

Spaces can cater for 15, 20, 60 and 120 max capacities.

The Den

DEN (at micklegate social) capacity for 60
The Micklegate Social has an amazing basement.
It has a sound system, PA, lighting effects and a projector and screen. For the whole room for private use £150 non-refundable hire fee from 6pm to midnight.
 

 

Shop

The Shop (at micklegate social) capacity for upto 15 
just off the main bar at Micklegate SOCIAL and has cool lighting, funky lounge furniture, and is laid-back.
For the whole room for private use prices from £30 (non-refundable hire fee) 

Note: The shop is not available Friday or Saturday nights. There is no background music in the SHOP because we have a resident directly above.
 

 

Lounge

BLUE VELVET LOUNGE (at fossgate social) seating for 20
Upstairs at fossgate SOCIAL is a sumptuous private space suitable for intimate private parties, live music, meetings, lectures etc.
For the whole room all evening, prices from £40 (non-refundable hire fee)
